Testing Dates
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO TEST?
Any student who has completed the Full Program of driver education and has held their permit for at least 120 days.
Any student (age 17 or under) who has completed the 8-Hour Safe Driving Practices Program, has held their permit for at least 180 days, and has taken at least 2 hours of in car driving instruction.
Any student (age 18+) who has completed the 8-Hour Safe Driving Practices Program, has held their permit for at least 90 days, and has taken at least 2 hours of in car driving instruction.
Any student who has not completed all of their classroom requirements prior to their scheduled testing date may purchase private classrooom sessions*
*IF Mark’s schedule allows.
ALL testing dates during the school year will take place on school days during school hours. Please plan accordingly.
Upon passing a test, the DMV agent will stamp your paperwork allowing you to drive IMMEDIATELY on your own! You will then receive your actual license in the mail within 30 business days.

…..$150 – all Ridgefield Driving School students
**Students who may have completed a driver education program through another school are still eligible to test at Ridgefield Driving School, but at least 2 hours of driving instruction must be done with Ridgefield Driving School, per state of CT**
